Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What kind of items does your store sell?
A: We sell new and gently used sports equipment.
Q: What does gently used and reusable mean?
A: All of our donations are separated into two categories; sellable and un-sellable. The un-sellable items will be donated to charities that support children in communities and other countries that are unable to obtain sports equipment. The sellable items are cleaned, refurbished at the Arc of Union County’s local work centers, using environmentally friendly cleaning products, for purchase.
Q: How do you get the products you sell?
A: Green Sports NJ is a not for profit retail business. All of our products are donated to us by companies and people in the community. To learn more about our donation policy click here.
Q: How often do the products in your store change?
A: Products in our store change daily. We have new items that enter our store each week. This provides a fresh look to our store, and keeps customers returning to our store to take advantage of our discounted prices.

A: We only accept donations of new sports clothing.
Q: What types of items can you accept?
A: We accept most types of sports equipment and sports related items. Click here to view our donation policy and the items we are not able to accept.
Q: Do any of your items ever go “On Sale”?
A: All of our items are discounted every day. We guarantee the lowest prices anywhere and will honor the price of any business that advertises a lower price than ours for the same exact item.
