Green Sports NJ offers students, schools, volunteer and community organizations a unique opportunity to help promote our mission to provide training and community based employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to increase environmental awareness.

Volunteers organize sports equipment collections within their schools, organizations, or communities. The used donated sports equipment is then cleaned and prepared for redistribution by individuals with developmental disabilities who are employed by Green Sports NJ.

HOW DOES IT WORK

• We provide our Volunteers with materials and advice to conduct a successful collection. Green Sports NJ will arrange for the pick up of any and all sports equipment collected in the drive.
• Green Sports NJ will work closely with you to obtain a site location for your drive and provide you with volunteers, if needed, to conduct your drive.
• While helping to support a great cause, students can earn community service credit that can increase their chances to get into their choice of colleges.
